She did get her research team after all :)

I tried this on the train while commuting a few times and one time I missed my stop and had to take another train back because I was hyperfocused in the story lol. If I do this I must boost the speed on the audiobook quite a bit so it matches my reading speed, otherwise I get impatient waiting for the audio to catch up. If I listen to only audio I mostly listen to normal speed to not miss stuff though
He did speak out against Audible though, but mentioned he was afraid of making him an enemy of Amazon.

I run Bazzite on a 3070 and it works well. The thing that is not supported yet is the gaming mode that basically turns your pc into steam deck mode as far as I understand it. It would be cool since I run my pc on TV only and mainly game with a controller. What I do is run Steam on startup and set it to start in big screen mode. Until a few weeks ago I used Linux mint and that was much more work with drivers for controllers and stuff. Bazzite is so good so far, seems to be exaxcly my use case for a TV Linux gaming pc.
Pihole hasn’t made any difference on devices like smart TVs and consoles for years, at least in my experience. It really sucks but they broke me and I bought premium family because we use YouTube a lot on non pc devices and I hate ads so much
I found a gold ring in a vent behind the rear mirror in my car.
It’s been really cold and I had heated the car before driving. As I was making a sharp turn some water dripped from behind the rear mirror. I guess it was condensation that had frozen and then heated? I stopped the car and used my phone flashlight to see where the water came from. Then I saw a flash of gold from something behind a vent that could be removed behind the rear mirror, where there’s wires for the radar and stuff. It was an 18k gold ring, engraved from the early sixties. I’ve had the car for a year and the former owner was a company with many people using the car. I guess someone his the ring and then forgot about it?
Maybe you’ll like Dover?
Even when discussing bad movies I’ve never seen someone else mention Death Bed before, it’s really bad! At least it has some humor and a lot of wierdness to it. The worst I’ve ever seen that just feels like lost time is Ax 'em / The Weekend it Lives. You basically can’t see or hear what’s going on most of the time because the camera work is so bad
I think many of them are since chatgpt introduced the “Studio Ghibli” style earlier this year. They are usually these wierd mixes between anime and western cartoon styles, with a warm color tone for some reason
