I had this problem too.

The issue for me was that my computer had two disks, a small fast one (sata ssd) and a large slow one. Windows had separated itself with the operating system itself and installed programs on the ssd, with all user documents on the slow disk.

Linux can do this too. Put a partition mounted on / (root) on the fast disk, and one mounted on /home on the large disk.

I’d put both on the large disc initially.

There’s a part of the installation where you set up the partitioning. Redoing the installation really sped up my Linux Mint installation.

Yeah. I’m talking about the sort of AI that was mentioned briefly at the end of that video. Enemy AI doesn’t need to be complex. Only optimised for enjoyment.

Interesting and funny, but still just a language model.

When games can have AI that can be indistinguishable from humans, that might not be the best thing for society, but it would make some great games.

I haven’t played a TTRPG in a very long time. I’d like to try to find the time to learn roll20 and invite some people to play Pathfinder there. I bought a copy of Abomination Vaults a while ago.

Wonder if a feature to allow admins to set different upload perms to users who have distinguished themselves to different extents and have their max size scale based on server demand would be helpful if it hasn’t been implemented yet.
Might help lighten the strain from these kinds of events.
