Step 1. Return the new Samsung
Step 2. Buy an android phone that supports GrapheneOS or LineageOS.
Step 2.5. Flash either on the new phone.
Done!
Step 3. Contemplate buying a Linux phone someday ;)
To be fair, there are some Samsung devices that support LineageOS, but yeah they are not newer models by a long shot.
