    Permitted?! So they weren’t allowed to grow embyros longer than 14 days prior to that? Why?

      I think that was an arbitrary definition for when it would be considered human as opposed to a bundle of cells. But you’d think they’d use the same guideline as abortions there. That seems most logical.
