Northern Irish Civil Rights movement had the IRA. Women’s Suffrage had the Suffregetes
All of these movements allowed the peaceful side to present the same terms:
‘You deal with me or you deal with the other guy.’

I’m not saying that at all, I’m just trying to say don’t discourage people from doing it again or more often
but we do absolutely need to do more
Those protests did nothing but reinforce the alt-right’s understanding of how weak the opposition is.
The No Kings “protests” were easily ignored and inconvenienced nobody. Would have been weak for even GWB-era opposition.
