Is there any advantagea for an EU state citizen to have their kids in the US for citizenship? I can only think of downsides tbh, don’t rich people literally give away their US citizenship because of tax issues? Idk seems stupid to me?
I know dual citizens who only lived in the US as babies and yet they have to pay US taxes on top of their own country’s taxes. And denouncing your US citizenship costs a lot of money, so they’re stuck.

At minimum you have to pay for 5 years or the rest of your life.
This makes me so mad. Some people very close to me have to deal with this shit. Their money is basically being stolen by a foreign country.
Paying taxes to a country you don’t even live in is insane.
