I think the thing about Boy Boy is that they’re communists who don’t advertise themselves as “communist Youtubers” but rather just “Youtubers who are communists”. They’re pretty honest about just filling a market niche of entertainment and don’t intend to play a key role in bringing about revolution. In the war for cultural hegemony, they’re more of a good symptom rather than a cause.
