WeDistribute is a guerrilla publication to broadcast news to the Fediverse and other parts of the Free Network.
Cool. They had some nice articles and tutorials. I only unsubscribed from their WordPress blog when there was too much comment spam coming in through WordPress itself.
Yeah, the comment spam eventually got really bad. I think as a way forward, I’d be interested in trying a better ActivityPub integration and maybe hide the comments form in such a way that only ActivityPub actors could actually post responses to anything.
You can configure it so that only registered user can post comments and then disable registration. The AP comments will still work, I have a WordPress page configured like that.
