Unless you’re playing on a screen with near zero latency that seems like a waste tbh.
I can notice lag if I play Super Mario Land on software emulation, Steam Deck, PS Vita, etc. I do not notice any lag with Analogue Pocket. So it is not a waste.
What’s FPGA
Instead software emulation, FPGA emulates with hardware. For me, the best part of it is that FPGA does not have the input lag of software emulation.
