pkgstats is a great way to help the Arch Linux packagers figure out which packages are being used by ((people who enable telemetry)). You can see some cool results of it here: https://pkgstats.archlinux.de/fun

While I know that this has been said before, this is the way to do telemetry. Making it so that you can only enable telemenaey if you really search how to enable it.
Exactly, I’ve always liked the way Debian does it, asking during the install process if you want to participate. It’s more obvious that way, I didn’t even know Arch had this option.
