@Houkime on itch.io has recently started organizing Gamejams on the Fediverse. This is a great idea to get some real creative hackathons going that drive fedi forwards at the same time.

This brainstorming thread is for posting game ideas that might be picked up in these sessions.

    And of course, one of the wildest ideas that was born in FediJam discussions is that 2 or more federating games do not need to be THE SAME game, or even the same genre.
    And this kind of stuff is what can make game-fediverses really unique.

      Oww, that is a very cool concept to consider. Something to go wildly creative on! You should add a link to that idea if you have it. I think of two ways in which this could be done:

      • A Bridge: 2 different games are connected and you can cross and navigate from one to the other, ‘travel between worlds’.
      • A Proxy: You interact with another world, but you stay within a single theme. ‘Remote’ user actions and storyline are translated on-the-fly.
