Aren’t they just an alt frontend for Google? Maybe you’re having issues with the UI. Most of the results should be the same.

It looks like the changelog is on the Play Store, but there is no actual update yet. I didn’t even know that was possible.
Edit: It was because I bought the game on an old account.
I hate that. Thanks for the response.
How can they prevent you from hosting unofficial events? What legal basis do they have for it?
I took it to mean that too and thought it was saying that there was some update that was taking forever. We already got 4 though, so it wouldn’t make any sense being posted lately.
PSA: You should really be using ad blockers, but if you’re not, Google lets you block certain types of ads in your account settings.
THE BESTAGON
It’s funny how people trying to manually correct AI being prejudiced just makes it even more prejudiced in different ways. This reminds me of when you could get ChatGPT to make misandrist jokes about men pretty easily, but it would lecture you about not making jokes about protected classes if you swapped out “men” with “women” and changed nothing else.
Our fire alarm is very loud I can still hear it for hours after it stops going off if it’s quiet now and went off for long enough. The first time may have been real.
I feel like either this can’t be real or you embellished how sure you are of what you heard. If this really happened, the only reasonable response would be to put a knife under your pillow, install a night-vision security camera, and then spend the next few nights pretending to sleep because there’s no way you’re getting any real sleep. You’d also involve other people if you knew anyone.
Burying your head in the sand and waiting for the guy living in your attic to kill you is definitely a BS response to what you described.
On the card view, ad boxes are inserted between posts.
Doesn’t it still say ‘sponsored content’ in those little widgets, though?
The user “pays” the creator and host at the same time by watching an ad, so it depends on when it plays. Not sure what you’re getting at.
If blocking ads is piracy, then ad-viewing is equated to money and showing ads while either failing to provide the service the user wanted or not providing any at all is theft.
The_Picard_Maneuver@startrek.website providing like 1/3 of all memes on Lemmy:
To my knowledge, it’s kind of hard to quantify exactly how much information is lost with a normal blurring algorithm (gaussian, box, etc), but it’s usually less than you think. There are certain edge cases where no information is lost at all and the original image can be perfectly reconstructed if it’s simple enough. Even if it’s a normal photo of something complex, a deconvolution algorithm can work seemingly impossible magic on a blurry image without the need for an AI that will hallucinate details.
On the other hand, pixelating part of an image provably removes a large amount of information from that section of the image and no algorithm will be able to de-pixelate something without hallucinating details. Using a big box is the absolute best because it just deletes all information from that part of the image.
ETA: the problem is a lot worse in videos because you can use multiple frames with different offsets to reconstruct a higher quality image even if it’s pixelated.
I hope that doesn’t turn out to be the case for the Blizzard people that left and formed FrostGiant. I want modern, snappy RTS!
It’s legitimately a good use for ChatGPT. You just have to put what you want into words and then it gives you the command.
“If you can’t install Arch yourself, I don’t want you on my machines.”
I wonder if that could be because your Google results are personalized.
