I use krita as well for random doodles also is inkscape open source? heared alot of positive things about it but never that it was open source

to make it more specific I am looking for Productivity tools which are not for specific tasks like openoffice or libre office but more like software around tasks which makes organizing and working more comfortable I used Trello and Kanboard in that direction.
