soooo I was looking for a good palce to talk about open soruce software something like a forum maybe and got reminded of my open source reddit search a while ago. so here I am is there a list of open source productivity tools? if there is no proper list shall we do one togther? with us all sharing oru software and thoughts?

I for one currently have Rambox and Ferdi on my computer Rambox being bit more slugish and unprofessional looking and being a tad slower while ferdi has a way less intuitive ui and use since you cant just enter a url to add something it also takes more ressources then Rambox.

I also play TheDarkMod, 0 A.D. Airshipper (Veloren) and MegaGlest which are all a lot of fun and reall well made in my opinion

software I also have on my computer Gimp (toying around I really like it) OpenVPN (for school I like it super polished) Godot (did some small games I am sure the Engine is great but I haven’t invested enough time to use it properly I also don’t have prior experience) Brave (due to some circumstances I have this browser I am not a fan of it tho I would like to have something like (forgot name) where you can host under the domain you want since the network is different the browser has its own dns I think it works over p2p but I am not sure) KeePass 2 (seems a bit old fashioned and the design is soso it is also not that intuitive and it has a lot of room to improve still the ebst password manager I found) VirtualBox (for school and prior private use I love this thing it’s a dream and I will never give it back)

I am looking for productivity tools and opensource software you guys think would be helpfull and have a good use and impact I prefer intuitive things that are not too komplex but if it is plenty helpful I will also put the work in.

I don’t mind games and entertainment sofwtare as well so post post post!!!.

I thank everyone for reading this and hope to see a lot of recommendations or additions to my list

“Productivity” is very broad and vague of a term. I don’t think a “list” would ever be comprehensive enough to cover everything. You just have to keep looking around and learn what is best for you.

to make it more specific I am looking for Productivity tools which are not for specific tasks like openoffice or libre office but more like software around tasks which makes organizing and working more comfortable I used Trello and Kanboard in that direction. I appreciate your answer tho and I am going to try out lots of things but I do not know where to find all the open source software outthere I mostly search for a specific term and add opensource or github to it.
