You just install it on both devices, and then add the devices together using the QR code’s.
You then add the folder you want to share, and select the device you want to share it with. On thr device you’ve chosen to share it with, you will get a prompt. You press accept and select the target folder.
The devices will now sync that folder.
You don’t need a server at all. Syncthing is peer to peer between devices. So you can just have it sync between two phones, or a phone and a laptop. They don’t always have to be online either.
Can I create a folder in the dock, and make the background transparent. That’s all I want, dock folders with no background.
Lots of countries only have mobile data to homes. Think African countries, India, Pakistan, then you’ve got Vietnam etc, with villages on rivers.

Well it’s usually In the firmware. As this is a laptop, the display is usually a dumb display. It depends if the manufacturer wrote the firmware into a controller or used windows drivers.
Love my XPS 13, runs fedora with no issues. Such a solid laptop. Also love my 4K screen
If they add on a service charge at a bar. I always ask them to remove it. A service charge for me walking to the counter and ordering a drink… Really!
