What layoffs? If you’re refering to the posts earlier today: The layoffs happened at Hasbro and Larian was only commenting on it because they worked with them. Larian itself had no layoffs I know of.
Am I lying if I try to answer a question to the best of my knowledge and end up being wrong?
I don’t think you can make something a lie retroactively if it was supposed to be true at the time.
That’s disguting on so many levels. Thanks for that bit of knowledge.
That’s an awesome artstyle.
I won’t support any store that sabotages Linux on purpose. Just earlier today I read a lame excuse for them to not support Linux with Fortnite despite only needing to click a single checkbox. Of course, it’s easy not getting tempted since I don’t have a windos system to begin with.
If only they had the funds for just a few more programmers, but alas, they barely survive off their niche title as is.
Same. I haven’t looked up the nominees, winners or even categories. The next day I saw Monster Hunter Wilds and Metaphor news and that’s really all I care about. I don’t get award shows in general since they don’t change anything for me - the product doesn’t get better or worse depending on the outcome.
Yep, that’s likely the problem with most people. It’s nothing you usually talk about and people won’t change problems they aren’t aware off. We should probably normalize talking about it without anyone being offended.
I know many vegetarians and I’ve met a single other vegan, all of which found a partner just as easy, or hard perhaps, as anyone else I know.
I, myself, kinda cheated and turned vegan after finding my current girlfriend. So I cannot report directly on this.
Like the Jacket Jacket fruit isn’t one of the most cartoonish fruits already.
I don’t disagree with that take. It’s just that her transformation is way to accurate to what Luffy does based on her limited knowledge. Kind of like her fruit ‘knows’ what Nika is.
I’m calling it now, all devil fruits are part of Nika. Luffy just got the one that’s closest, but whatever Bonny did is just as much “Nika”.
I believe your brain will just kind of edit them out, similar to how it edits out your nose or glasses.
That is right, you can dissolve faster in warm water. However, some ingredients tend to form lumps in warm water - the main thing to watch out for is starch, commonly used to thicken.
You may try and if your stock cubes will not produce lumpy sauce or whatever you’re cooking, you don’t need to mix them prior. Stuff usually disolves better in cold water.
Yep, discord is an absolute eye sore. You go on any popular server and every major post is covered in animated rainbow barf - or super reactions as they call them.
Haven’t used Matrix, but profile pictures and gif/image reactions are find in chat apps when they are clearly seperated. It’s just a nightmare if you need to navigate through them on your limited screen space like on reddit or lemmy.
I don’t like emojis and never used them on purpose, just a few times before I found a setting to prevent the auto-replacement function in other apps. I kinda prefer pure text, couldn’t tell you why. Maybe because they distract the eye too much. But for the same reason I dislike profile pictures, awards and gif/image reactions.
That’s still pretty hit or miss for me. I’ve watched a video about cats exactly once a few weeks ago when my cat did something strange, and my recommendations are still littered with click-bait videos about certain cat behaviors. I watch tons of the aforementioned hour long analysis videos and I still need to resort to playlists compiling them instead of getting recommendations. To me, it seems the algorithm really wants to push certain types of content and will flood me with them if I so much as hover a video too long. But it really dislikes other types of content and almost hides them on purpose, despite me liking them. My best guess would be that longer videos have less ads per minute of content and are therefore not recommended as much, but I couldn’t tell, I started blocking ads on Youtube when they added a second ad banner back in the day - long before video ads were a thing.
Firefox has an addon called “Hide shorts for youtube”. I don’t use any other browser on any device.
That’s not only a search engine problem in itself - websites also got worse in general to appeal to googles algorithm. Which means that other search engines would show similar crap, unfortunately.
