Chrono Trigger is an absolute classic. I’ll listen to the full soundtrack often. When playing other games actually.

I tried a lot, but what felt best was emulating Nintendo DS games that could be played entirely with a stylus. Touch friendly so feels native, but also has benefit of not having ads or attempts to up sell you on a bunch of items that has come to plague a lot of mobile games.
I do love SNES music. Particularly Chrono Trigger. I’ve been playing more retro games since I got the steam deck.
Can it really be beaten over a weekend? I might give the original a shot before getting into the remake.
I’ve like Doom Eternal and Ultrakill. It’s perfect for my sometimes short attention span with so much happening at once that it doesn’t give my mind a chance to start drifting off.
Trackpads are nice for desktop navigation so you don’t have to be tapping on the tiny screen.
I want another single player campaign of Titanfall. I need to be reunited with BT.
I hope that means this game has directstorage
Golf with Friends is casual and at times frustrating fun. Don’t have to wait for each person to hit the ball before you hit yours either, so the games courses don’t drag on.
If you do spend some time learning a technique called dodge offset which makes it easier to chain together combos without breaking it. Makes game lot more fun than just button mashing.
I don’t get the appeal of preordering a game months before it comes out when there isn’t even a discount for doing so. At least Steam has 2 hour returns, but why money upfront so far away from release?
If a game is always online I expect it to be f2p, since then that’s a situation where a game disappearing if the company decides to pull it doesn’t bother me. It’s not even likely that piracy would be able to save an always online game the way abandoned games that never got DRM removed can be.
Control first hours were boring for me too, but got fun once they started throwing in more abilities like being able to jump into the air and do a ground slam near the end game. I wish they had introduced abilities a lot sooner, since beginning where it just telekinesis and shooting got repetitive fast.
I loved the original trilogy of God of War, but the cinematic long drawn out pacing of the PS4 versions compared to the fast and concise nature of the older ones didn’t much hook me. Bayonetta felt like it embodied more of the original trilogy of God of War when it came to gameplay and presentation of the story not overstaying its welcome and being a brisk pace.
Chrono Trigger is my all time favorite music too. Get a blast of nostalgia when I hear their tracks.
I love simple login. Before that I needed to handle multiple email accounts if I didn’t want to expose my main email.
Just because you disagree with someone doesn’t mean it’s automatically a circle jerk. People do have valid reasons for not choosing to spend money on the epic platform.
