Realistically, the more accessible the internet becomes the more it reflects the behavior of humanity at large.
These things exist because they’re part of us. The internet probably makes them more visible, but I doubt it makes them more extant.
Well there’s your problem, it should be Reese’s Pieces.
Nah, having your teeth growing out of your lip is totally normal. So is having your forearms merge into each other.

Please, explain how this is McCarthyism.
Hong Kong, a former British colony, was returned to Chinese rule in 1997 with the promise of wide autonomy under a “one country, two systems” framework
A promise which China immediately broke. When the people of Hong Kong protested against China’s increasing authoritarian control and general dishonesty, China used it as an excuse to brutalize them.
Beijing in 2020 imposed a tough national security law on Hong Kong, which it said was vital to restore stability after the city, a global financial hub, was rocked for months by sometimes violent anti-government and anti-China protests in 2019.
This is such a softball take. The violence was caused by a pro-Chinese mob who were probably a gang paid by the government to attack the protesters, and by the Hong Kong police.
China and Taiwan’s main opposition party, the Kuomintang (KMT), have cast the election as a choice between war and peace.
[…]
KMT presidential candidate Hou Yu-ih said on Saturday a vote for the DPP was equivalent to “sending everyone out to the battlefield” because supporting Taiwan independence would touch off a war.
KMT is threatening the people of Taiwan with violence in order to influence their votes. If there is a war, it will be because China started it.

Beat Hazard is sort of close, though a different theme. If you put it on one-stick mode (auto-aim) it plays more like Vampire Survivors.
GNUcash is a great expense tracker and that’s it. It is not a budgeting tool.
Last time I saw this question, someone else recommended Actual Budget. I haven’t used this myself (still using YNAB4), but I’m planning to switch to it in the future. It currently only imports from YNAB4, but they have an open API so it might import from other apps in the future.
Here comes Arch Linux with the parts for a steel chair! Now they’re pulling out the instructions for putting it together! Uh oh, the instructions say what kind of bolts they need, but not how many! Arch is trying to fit it all together anyway! Hmm, looks like some of the assembly steps are missing… ok, Arch has got something that looks like a chair constructed… now they’re going to test it by sitting down… oh, and the chair frame has held together but the seat has fallen off. Arch forgot about not breaking user space again!
Time to lay some pipe.
Don’t break userspace.

Government subsidies work for getting new technologies out of the prototype stage and into practical deployment. Solar and wind are both good demonstrations.
Verizon was also threatened with a knife.
