Oh come on with these prices!! This is BS.😑 This is why I got my Teracube 2s. Its around 350 getting the degoogled version and thats it.

Your getting scammed paying over 1000+ for these phones, people, don’t do it. Linux needs to come on already and make resonable priced phones.

I got one of the budget phones from Muerna, the Teracube 2s. You gotta go really light on the apps on this phone if you want to find e/OS alternatives, otherwise itll be either laggy, slow or just break and won’t work. Fennec has a lot of privacy features on its app, to the point where some things just won’t freaking load if your really concerned about internet traffic, ads, trackers etc. For me it just dosent work on this phone unless I use it on my other phone ive been experimenting with, Galaxy A16 5g.

Thats what I do too. But for mobile, currently I’m using DuckDuckGo until I find something that can work right on this phone. The default browser for this phone is garbage and Iv been trying to find an alternative since then.

For everyone using Firefox, are you using it with microG or some type of sandbox? Even when going private, you can’t download it unless you have Google Play services on mobile. Ive tried to see if it works without google and unfortunately it dosent. If that’s the case for mobile, then technically we really shouldn’t be using it either.

Theres one literally called Wallet where you can store information of your credit/debit cards but unfortunatly cant use them (still learning the app). Now Catima is awesome but its for anything you need thats a QR code. For example, I mostly use it so far for my gym membership.

I’m still learning all the technical jargon, but with this particular app.; I downloaded it from Droid-ify. I basically disabled anything related to MicroG, to really try and not use anything google (that also includes MicroG). (I don’t have any apps on here that uses the Google PlayStore) Unless in some way it’s still using Google, casue with Lineage OS and its ability to have MicroG (if you choose to).

It’s just mostly aesthetics but youncan get the buttons to provide feedback even though it’s digital

The phone I have is basically Lineage in disguise (e/OS). I haven’t noticed anything to crazy.

Unless it’s the actual OS itself, I absolutely agree. BlissLauncher (the launcher for e/OS on the phone I have, the Teracube 2s) is such a stupid and very limited launcher.

You cant put widgets on your pages, after the main notification page. you can’t make the app icons to big or the names for the apps to large, and if you do, it starts to lag. And now this issue, changing the launcher apparently, makes the navigation panel not operational. It’s the most stupidest thing I’ve seen so far on this phone.

I don’t know. There’s no negativity here so I don’t see why y’all are doing it in the first place? Either y’all are being really sensitive or I’m missing something here. Yes, it’s an android setting, but I don’t know why, it started working normally after reinstalling BlissLauncher

I was messing with them when trying out the different launchers and it was not working properly for some reason. I have no idea why it was acting like that. But when I reinstalled the original launcher that was preinstalled in the phone, it started working normally again.

The phone I have is a new phone. 🤣
