Gods speed, hope you succeed
I enjoyed 3 to 5, probably 3 and 5 more than 4. I did not enjoy 6 at all.
Best: Grounded, worst: stranded deep
Not all are made equally though. Make sure to not skip the Tiny Tina ones.
I personally really disliked the latest Far cry. Graphics where nice, story was ok-ish but the outlandish aspects of the gameplay (supremo’s… pets…) made it a snoozefest without any challenge. Setting the enemies to bulletsponge made it even more unbearable. I’ll be waiting for the bargain bin for the next installment.
You know what, you’re right. I just hope that workers in the tech industry can finally see that they should form collective actions.
You seem to be making a mountain out of a molehill. Attacking the tone of the message adds nothing.
The “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” view of the world is something most Americans ascribe to. It might not apply to an individual but it definitely describes the group.
Yes years of corporate propaganda made an impact, I hope for them they can be the change they want to see.
I sort of get your point, but sometimes the truth also stings a little and people need to be aware that when it’s good is when you need to prepare for the downturn, that is the moment to prepare your nestegg, unionize etc.
As I said in the other comment, the Union has been villofied by corpo’s that people in the US think they are only to antagonize the company.
Actually I successfully have, just not in the US. The US has pretty hostile regulations against unions. Or maybe lacks regulations against companies squashing them.
Corporate greed can only be stopped by disallowing the divide and conquer strategy they employ. Individual bargening against large corporations only works if the employer works in good faith. So when the relationship was good they could have also formed a union and work together to have a fair footing if anything changes in that good relationship. The employees as a group missed that window and now that it’s needed the framework for collective bargaining is not there and individuals are left holding the bag.
Unions should not be demonized as a bad thing or punishment for the employer, it is a counterweight to the corporate machine if it ever shows it’s ugly head. Good employers have nothing to fear if they work together.
While terrible, the most of these people make a lot of money and could have also unionized over the past years. Covid also showed them what was on the horizon. But instead the prevailing US worker strategy in these high paying jobs seems to be “get yours”.
This will be epic in terms of the cluster fuck it can generate.
Mod makers making more than the game creators, commercializing someone elses products, asset and mod theft and monetezation, revenue split…
Lemme grab my popcorn.
The trick will be reverse engineering a lot of the mechanics. Also some old systems control hardware that still works and will be replaced when the hardware is replaced.
Hooray…
I had a lot of fun in the division games with some friends.
In terms of city building anno 1800 is enormously deep and fun.
I enjoyed far cry up to and including 4.
Well look at the information out there on the pros and cons of remote depositions. In person seems to be better as the remote in the US still is not a mature solution, riddled with technical difficulties.
It’s there to stay and will mature, but it’s not there yet. Covid pushed everyone to ignore some of the drawbacks but they are still there.
I have no clue if the judge is indeed 80 years old, but in the end the judge has free reign over their cours proceedings.
Remote does not make as much of an impression as in person.
Meh, I think this is just a convenient out. I’m not saying that there is no risk, but the other serious health risks was always a factor for everyone (so barring agoraphobia, not a thing) and covid is also less of an issue if you are up to date with your booster.
If he wants he can also wear a mask I guess (travel is all done private, so hardly any risks there. Or at least a lot less than for mere mortals).
Keep in mind he is a billionaire with one goal, protect his empire, and everything is allowed in that game… Even using legitimate concerns for some to get out from under being deposed on the stand.
Thanks
I tend to play co-op with a friend and enjoyed playing V-Rising on a private server. We built up our vampire lair and roamed the lands collecting resources and expanding the lair. The bosses are challenging, and the map is varied. It is also fun to play with friends as the game accommodates this very well.
