I’ve used e/OS for two years. I don’t like the interface, it’s like iOS and I can’t see what people like in it. It’s hardly customisable. A lot of apps didn’t work back then (I think I tried it last 4 years ago). I’m back to LineageOS.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is the most exotic meat you've eaten? How was your experience?

My cat actually acts a bit like a dog : follows me, wants pets, fiercely protective.
Doesn’t affect humans in this way.
On the whole, there was little evidence that T. gondii was related to increased risk of psychiatric disorder, poor impulse control, personality aberrations, or neurocognitive impairment.
Series T, P and X (except X1).

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's some sex ed info you didn't know until embarrasingly late?
7·3 years agoIt’s actually the whole penis. The glans is only the glans of the clitoris. The other parts (internal) of the clitoris, in the case of a penis, are the whole shaft.
The labias (the large ones) are your scrotum.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What did you do to survive the night of/after a breakup?
2·3 years agoPsychic pain and physical pain use the same receptors. So antalgics like paracetamol/acetaminophen work too. You won’t miraculously forget the pain but it’ll take a bit of the edge of it.

- I never connect with M$, only a local account. When installing Win11 type Shift+F10 to get a console then type
cd oobebypassNRO.cmdIt’ll give you access to a local account option. - NextDNS for a system wide ads and tracker filtering
- I’ve recently switched my mp3 player from AIMP to Dopamine
- WinCDEmu (outdated but still useful)
- OnlyOffice Desktop Editors for my clients who can’t understand any UI different from MS Office…
- Firefox/Thunderbird
- ImageGlass

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Should I convince my mother to switch to ProtonMail?
2·3 years agoI think Infomaniak would give her a more similar experience to Gmail if you’re in Europe. 20GB of mail storage + 15GB on KDrive, contact app, document editing, visio, file transfer, etc.
These websites that are just endlessly piled tiles look so dumb on desktop. And they’re huuuge! How many MB of JavaScript do they need to cram into them where simple HTML and CSS would be perfectly fine and faster.

Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles.
I was on the verge of ditching books altogether as we were only given books with stories or characters I didn’t care for at all or that I didnt engage with.
Then I picked the Martian Chronicles and that book elicited colours and images. I didn’t really understand the subtext at the time but the poetic impression it left in me was so powerful I started to read books with joy. Always chasing the poetry, rhythm, feelings I once felt.
