I think there’s a plug in. But it does connect to an api. So you have to have an endpoint available for that. Being an online service (mostly paid) or your own service running in your machine.

I would love to play it. But all the modern Total War games tend to include DENUVO which is a big no-no for me. And with no denuvo crackers active I don’t think it would be possible to remove it soon.

It’s possible with certificates and 2fa issued by a government, which already have all your data, that would only verify that you are over 18.

We already have that in Spain, sort of. We have a government app where you have a digital id stored and you can make it create a verify qr that only shows if the user is over 18 or under 18, no more data. The qr only last 5 minutes active.

It is necessary? Not for internet access. That’s a duty of the one paying for internet in the household, not the government. If they have underage kids under their responsibility it’s their duty to make sure that they get good education about what to see and what not and restrict access if needed. Having the government to universally interfere everyone it’s just plain bad.

Phone carriers are to blame. Unlimited SMS plans weren’t common when whatsapp took hold of our communications.

It’s the de facto communication medium in Europe. It’s not much of a choice. Even work related groups are usually over WhatsApp.

I recently played the new silent hill and I didn’t hesitate to put combat difficulty on easy, it was a matter of my own health at that point.

I could endure a horror story, but the stress of getting beaten up and having to run away from grotesque monsters while trying to solve cryptic puzzles was too much for me.

I mean, I don’t really enjoy characters I like changing overtime. They are nor “people” they are just stories, I don’t necessarily want the best for them. I just want them to keep providing the same interesting stories that hooked me on them to begin with.
