I don’t understand how any of this is addressing any of the concerns that users have expressed about the direction of the company. In fact, if I was feeling particularly skeptical, I’d just as well believe that these posts were solicited from inside the company.

Ed is finally tough enuss

Maybe I’m a particularly sensitive, spiteful snowflake, but if the boss of my company accused me of being a “loser” because I cared about the quality of the product, I’d be looking to deliberately sabotage the product. And for a new job, of course.

2026 business has got very little to do with customers/consumers, supply and demand. Maybe it’s been that way for a long time, but this ‘AI’ nonsense has bought it to the surface, evidently.

It’ll be interesting to see if Australia lets apple make their own rules for how exactly they comply, like they did in the EU. If they do, this isn’t really a huge win.

You’re technically correct, but I still disagree with you on this. My reasoning is that I think the real story here is that meta has wormed its way out of being punished adequately, again.

No, I mean more like “Meta to pay just 10% of original fine” - So people get an idea of how their judiciary system really works.

the state was awarded $219.5 billion, but the penalty was ultimately reduced to $25 billion.
would have been a better headline, tbh

Sorry, but the article is behind a paywall, so I’m assuming the copy/paste in the OP is accurate to the original article. In the OP, the brexit argument is literally the 1st point the author makes after claiming “This is not an education, but an indoctrination”. That makes it sound rather important to the basis of their argument.
But, please, go ahead and claim “tankies” are misrepresenting the issue.

By paraphrasing one of the key points in the article, it does actually look like they read it before commenting.

Russia tried, Cambridge Analitica did

You found the arch nemesis

I think this weird anti-self-checkout crowd is just young people who don’t remember the times before self-checkouts.
What crowd? As far as I can see, the article is talking about retailers who want to do this, not customers.

I don’t understand why it scored so abysmally
politics plays a role
The truth was out there, all along.

Perhaps because unlike the current situation with England, there’s actually a net positive effect of affiliation with the EU.
Besides, the whole “ruled” thing was an emotive term used to goad a poorly informed electorate into barely passing an advisory referendum.

He’s a hobbit that got gifted the one-true-algorithm and used it to propel himself to stardom. Please, save yourself, avoid at all costs.
But they’d couch it
Hey, sorry, is that some J.D. Vance thing that I’m too sofa-pilled to understand?
Wym? I think they’ve already said no to the USA quite a few times already.
