I’m convinced regular driving is not good for our brains. I am lucky to live without a car and I am a really relaxed person but it takes about a day driving before I start getting angry at other drivers again.

This does sound pretty rad

I mean the article says the military did just that anyway

Why impossible? Genuinely curious

Openly hostile even

Oh good we need more AI projects right now

I’d just like to have to trim my nails less frequently

I know they don’t have the same supply chain at all but Apple sells an entry Mac Mini for $600. That makes me feel like a similarly priced Steam Machine is possible.

When Facebook was just starting to be popular I was telling my uncle how people will get exposure to more of the world and be more open to it. He told me he was afraid the wrong people would find each other too. Fast forward 15 years he gets red pilled and dies of Covid.

It just pisses me off that they have all the money in the world for their datacenters but not for the systems that power it

I am having trouble seeing how OpenAI survives without investment cash. What exactly is their moat? I know they are hoping to power the AI behind everyone else’s tech but that is more and more untenable as the others develop AI models of their own.

That and the risktaking bit give the headline two rofl’s

It used to be the same but them W. Bush extended summer time on both ends to really make things confusing

I just pray people see the shitshow in the USA and think twice about following suit. Not holding my breath though.

I was wondering when we’d get to the snake oil portion of the video hobby that audiophiles have been suffering. 8k vs. 4k is the new lossy vs. lossless argument.

I mean I pay it and the free games are all that keep me from hating it

I hope it inspires Sony to follow suit. In the 2020s paying for multiplayer access is absurd.
Me too honestly. I love cars and driving but hate commuting and traffic and finding parking spots - all the frustrations that come when you have to rely on it to live instead of just enjoy it.
