It’s basically a federated version of GoodReads.

For me, Mastodon just became an alternative to an rss feed reader.

This will be an unpopular opinion, but none.

There are things in life that I can control and things that I cannot. And I should plan for both.

Once I realized that, my anxiety and stress levels went down tremendously.

That is exactly what I did for my mom. Her windows machine was end of life, but the gard were was still fine. I put her on Mint and have not heard a single word about it.

I also try to use reader mode in my browser whenever I can.

I am from reddit checking things out here. I was/am an avid user of RedReader. If I can find comparable communities here to my favorite subs, I may stay awhile.

If RedReader switches to Lemmy integration that will be a big plus!
