I saw this on my work computer the other day and I couldn’t figure out what the fuck it was. This explains it. Wtf
No, I actually liked FFXI better than FFXIV. I played XI for a couple years but I couldn’t get into XIV.
I like turn based because I like not having to panic decide and button mash.
Some of the FF stories are so good. Some of them get convoluted and weird but the early games, 6-10, have some of the best stories in gaming. Stuff that will make you cry.
I think some of the games have options to switch between realtime and turn based. Especially newer games like the FF remake, but I’m not 100% certain. Haven’t played them.
I loved this game.
I would love to start playing it again. This is the kind of thing I want a remaster of. Give me more FFXI.
Ah must be my bank. Same.
How many people start companies, rack up a bunch of debt, then create another company that buys everything except the debt?
It’s BS they didn’t know about it. They got the financials before the deal. Even if it wasn’t directly listed as a line item it would have been a part of the expenses.
They still thought the deal was worth doing as it was based on incoming revenue and outgoing expenses.
I didn’t even get an email about this. I would have been angry when my subscription auto renewed. I love Trakt but this is too much. I’ll be cancelling too
EDIT: I cancelled. Bummer. I’ve been a user for 12 years. I track things religiously and I tried to contribute to their site by creating public lists that have actual value.
It’s too short a notice, a flimsy justification, and a poor execution. The auto tracking features they added recently really messed up my watch history so now is as good of time as any to quit.
It’s funny. They target people who burned the trucks, but insurance claims are probably their best chance to get paid for the trucks.
I have some hexbear communities turned off in my feed, but I have subscribed to some also. Lemmy is growing but it’s still a small community. Sometimes, I want to see posts on a niche topic and I’ll take what I can get.
My niece is non-binary and we run into this issue. Now, I just ask people who identify as non-binary. “When there isn’t a good non-binary term to use, do you prefer me to use male or female words?”
So far, the non-binary people I’ve asked seem to appreciate the question.
What is considered high? I have an above average intelligence, but I also have ADHD.
I have a fantastic memory, but I can’t always choose what I remember. I’m great at facts and trivia but I can’t remember things that are actually important in my life.
I didn’t have to study in school. I could glance over the material minutes before a test and pass without trying. Then, I got to college and I didn’t know how to study as I’d never done that before. I failed out.
Yeah, could have been called “kids are learning how circuits work thanks to TikTok trend” and suddenly the story has a whole other meaning
Dollar Shave Club makes 6 blade razors in the US. I just saw them at the grocery store yesterday.
Aliens in my favorite movie of all time too. (⌐■_■)
But do the drivers speak English? /s
Terry Crews was sexually assaulted by the head of a Hollywood talent agency while at a party in 2016.
Initially, he was embarrassed and angry. He didn’t want to talk about it, but after talking to his wife and seeing what the Weinstein accusers were doing, he decided to speak up about it. Seems that he wanted men to know to know it can happen to them too and to not be afraid to speak up.
I think it’s really important for other men (and other genders) to see that. Maybe more people will be brave enough to speak out too.
First of all, the Washington Examiner is a right-wing news outlet. They have a bias in there reporting and it shows.
Second, the number of sexual assaults on campus is likely significantly higher according to more recent information.

Last, if someone assaults a person who doesn’t believe they were assaulted, does that count?
Ever had sex while less than stone cold sober (keep in mind the entirety of the surveyed considered to arrive at this figure were college students)? Survey says you were raped. Doesn’t matter if you were just tipsy, doesn’t matter if you and your partner were equally drunk, doesn’t matter whether you think you were raped/assaulted, nope, we decided you were.
What is that person had passed out drunk and doesn’t remember it? Is it rape now? What if that person has a learning disability or communication disability? Do you think that’s rape?
My point here is that something can be true if the person isn’t aware of it. I presume people are also more likely to say they’ve received unwanted physical interactions than to say they were raped.
You know, society used to think you couldn’t rape your wife either.
Nah. They think this is a necessary sacrifice. They think they are soldiers in a war.
