So, I completely switched to FOSS federated social networks toward the middle of 2020. I love the Fediverse, but nobody I know IRL seems to care at all about it in any capacity, so I’m basically just screaming into a void full of other FOSSheads. How do I reconcile this? How do we get our IRL peeps on the Fediverse?
Since it is the weekend already here, I asked your question to the I Ching and got something like this (interpretation) on the first hit:
People of all walks come to the fediverse like water flowing through the tubes, water collecting itself in pure and quiet pools. This image is meant to guide us as we flow through times of solitude, staying true to what is pure and innocent, escaping danger and reaching a place of quiet refuge and good fortune beyond.
So basically, you have to let them find their own way if you want to preserve the quiet pools ✌️
