For me, that’s what sisu really is.

So for you, sisu is being a coward? This is exactly what I mean. You depict cowardice and stupidity and assign positively values to it as if there’s any situation in which “quietly powering through it” is a better choice. “I’ll just power through fascism.” “I’ll just power through this infection.”

    Ridiculous.

    Suorastaa säälittävää.

ch and moan. In those situations, the Finns will get amazing things done

Bull-fucking-shit. Being profoundly uncaring about your situation and unwilling to change it will not result in anything amazing. It’s literally just the precondition of the people necessary for authoritarianism to function!

    Fascism =/= authoritarianism.

I was held for three days in a jail cell without my prescription medication, one point they even shut off my water. That’s again international laws. I have photographic evidence of the cell covered in my own blood because I was awake for there days going psychotic and harming myself while the police refused to give me my prescription anti-psychotic medication.

I can’t get a single Finn to agree to that, even though none of them can deny the evidence have. That is COWARDICE in front of authoritarianism, not “sisu.”

Gtfo and don’t speak about Finland you don’t know Jack shit

Hey guys, just editing this to point out that unless you’re willing to actually say I’m lying or making this shit up, then you’re just supporting authoritarianism by downvoting me. Here’s what the cell looked like, except I didn’t have a blanket or a mattress when I was there, which they also aren’t allowed to remove from the cell. But will any finns believe their eyes? No. Because they’ve been conditioned into rulewhoring and never questioning the state. just imagine what it would feel like to chew on your own fingers until you can produce enough blood to write 300 words in your own blood on the walls.

Ah, the old “I’ll extremely sarcastically accept that he’s right so that I don’t have to continue a discussion I don’t like while still getting to pretend I’m actually correct”

Yeah lots of Finns use that for avoidance as well. The levels of avoidance inherent in Finnish society are literally pathological, and probably infectious to at least those with similar mindsets.

Ah, the old “I’ll extremely sarcastically accept that he’s right so that I don’t have to continue a discussion

You telling me to gtfo very clearly ended the conversation. I simply acknowledged that you indicated that I had nothing else to say to you.

But I will tell you one thing: you need to let go of whatever anger is burning inside of you, you’ll live happier and longer.

And with that said, I’m truly done. No need to reply.

No, you’re just avoiding reality, pathologically. It’s a disease in Finland. You’re simply not capable of criticism of the state.

              Vitun säälittävää, kasvata selkäranka.

Ofc it does, and easily so.

But you would rather pretend it does not, because you’re not ready for adult conversations.

Ah yes, the conversation that ended, that you’re still continuing?

It’s this kind of pretentious bullshit that’s very inline with the problem I’m complaining about.

I can see why you’d admire other people with pathological avoidance.
