Unknown assailants stole thousands of rounds of ammunition from a delivery truck destined for a Bundeswehr barracks in the town of Burg in Saxony-Anhalt, German media reported on Tuesday.
The theft took place on Tuesday, November 25, the Defense Ministry confirmed to public broadcaster MDR and weekly magazine Der Spiegel.

I get the “used in Ukaine”-part, but why pretend that there is a difference between AfD-linked nazis and Russian troops? That’s just the same people differently flavored for another front line.
Usually the russian army doesn’t use caliber 9×19 NATO ammunition (but similar), yet, as you said, currently, that wouldn’t be a surprise either.

…And that by some stroke of 90s era sitcom luck no one ever realizes the error, while slowly but surely word begins working its way from the front that Ukraine has developed some form of wonder weapon (or collectively prayed to the right god… or devil :-o) that has made them all impervious to gun fire.
