What Peertube instance or accounts to follow? @fediverse
What are your recommendations to have funny or interesting video content on Fediverse. Preferably on peertube.
I like tilvids.com.
thelinuxexperiment_channel is my fav. on this.
I also enjoy watching Drew Devault’s videos.
All of these are tech related though.
definitely have to endorse the Linux Experiment’s channel, nick definitely has the most sane linux channel out there lol
Second tilvids. Tons of great content on there.
Is there any way to subscribe to content creators on tilvids from my lemmy instance? Just out of curiosity
The Fediverse is all connected. So there should be a way. I’m not familiar with Lemmy enough to know for sure. Maybe ask in the beehaw support?
@dragnucs Whew, that depends a lot on your own interests, of course. For searching for content on #Peertube, there is a meta-search engine called #Sepiasearch : https://sepiasearch.org/
@fediverse@caos @fediverse I like to watch technology, bird keeping and breeding, and comedy. By comedy I mean memes, funny short videos, or even elaborate sketches. Or stuff like this: https://piped.video/watch?v=GUl9_5kK9ts
@dragnucs @fediverse A strong recommendation from me is https://urbanists.video. Basically, it’s a PeerTube instance dedicated to Urbanism, urban planning, cycling, public transport, walkable neighbourhoods, and similar topics.
If sustainability in the built environment is your thing, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Thanks for sharing this. I found this concept interesting recently.
Kolektiva.media “A collective effort to offer video hosting to anarchist collectives and individuals federated with the PeerTube network. Registrations are open, but you need to write us with why you want a Kolektiva.media account at kolektiva@riseup.net”
If you’re interested in urbanism, this could be a good instance for you: https://urbanists.video/

I like @art.sommerwolke.com@tube.tchncs.de (painting) and @liveitlive@video.liveitlive.show (concert).
