Serious question: how many of you would have been confused if I had titled this thread ‘Numerous British & U.S. authorities banned a prosemitic film for its Communist bias’?
Prosemitic is not a word i see often but i would’ve guessed you mean pro-ewish. If you are asking if i would’ve been surprised by the title’s premise, absolutely not. Jewish people being constantly persecuted positioned them as the vanguard of progressive movements such as in the communist revolutions.
