1. Run an instance of BirdsiteLIVE, or use the (overloaded 😅) public server https://beta.birdsite.live/
  2. Put in a Twitter username
  3. Find and follow the generated account, from your Mastodon (or other) client
  4. Twitter posts show up in your timeline 🤯

Just have a look here: https://birdsitelive.fediverse.observer/list I found some instances that aren’t saturated, but not every Birdsitelive instance works on every Mastodon instance. My suggestion is to follow a Birdsite profile that posts frequently and verify if you see the posts on the Mastodon you are on.

I’m not running an instance, I’m overloading poor public ones 🙈 Soon, though! And even when heavily overloaded, posts seem to come through pretty quick.

I’ve used this tool and it usually works well, but all the public instances Ive found are really oversaturated and I’m too lazy to host my own.

It’s definitely a great piece of software. I can’t use it on my Mastodon instance however, maybe I need to migrate to another Mastodon instance.

Older posts from other servers are not displayed.

And Also, I was thinking about something like this for Lemmy too. I mean, a bridge from Reddit to Lemmy would be awesome.

That showed up for me too, it might still work for new tweets if you follow the account?

Reddit/Lemmy bridge would be AWESOME, though in b4 an arms race with Reddit devs to stop it working 😶
