Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have both been disqualified from the United States Grand Prix. Following the race in Austin, their cars were inspected post-race and irregularities were spotted by the FIA Technical team after a plank wear inspection was carried out.

    Oof. Sucks for Lewis. He really gave it his all this weekend and deserved that podium imo.

      Yeah this hurts. My man sir Lewis was coming up swinging only to be knocked down by this bizzare technicality. How come George and Sainz weren’t flagged? They started with the same car didn’t they?

    Shame. I thought the teams had learned to manage plank wear by now. I don’t even know the last time this was an issue.
