    I don’t agree, genocide is a drastic overstatement and not fair to actual genocides. Are civilians displaced? Yes. Are civilians casualties higher than they should? Yes. None if that is anywhere close to the scale of intent of a genocide. And considering the history of their neighbours aggression i‘d argue it’s the other way around. If anyone ever really tried to eliminate the other, the jews can claim the victimhood here for sure.

      With how many civilians they’ve killed, it’s unreasonable to call it anything but a genocide. If there were less casualties it would be open to interpretation but when literal genocide researchers, the people who would know the most on this topic, are calling this a genocide… yeah I think it’s tough to argue against.
