Is there a link to that? This was published 10 hours ago and I can’t find any corroboration. AA seems to be the only one reporting and they’re a somewhat questionable source. It also seems a bit odd that a Turkish news org would be the only one reporting or commenting on an interview from the most watched channel in Israel.

Edit: I think in this specific case, this source is highly questionable. They are “controlled by the right-wing ruling party and [have] a very strong pro-government state bias,” and Erdogan has formally taken a pro-Hamas position.

An article from a former RT America reporter wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. The media in the second link is no longer available. Given they’re known for using poor and questionable sources, I can imagine why. Do you have a credible source for this?

“Western media doesn’t report on news that isn’t in English” is such a comically stupid thing to say. Much of “western media” reports primarily in non-English languages. The BBC broadcasts in more than 40 languages. You can’t possibly think that, like, the BBC or the NYT only report on news from English speakers, can you?

I’m asking you watch the TV recording, not read the article. You’re free to pump it through any of the LLM live translation services out there if you don’t speak Hebrew.

It’s an edited video on a guy’s blog who was employed by one of the most infamous propaganda networks in the world.

So… they fake-dubbed a person talking and prayed that nobody watching the news spoke Hebrew? That’s some impressive stuff.

There are myriad ways to lie with video. Neither of us have any idea what was added or removed. I’m not saying with certainty that it’s false. I’m saying that once this untrustworthy person got their hands on this video and edited it, it was tainted. We can’t determine whether it was edited in good faith without another source.
