        I am eager to try Tok because it looks very slick and is open source

        Same, but building Qt applications is such a pain, and I don’t feel like building it from source. Hopefully they’ll come out with Releases soon.

        there is a few open source projects communicating via Telegram so I’d like to explore these things.

        The command line tg is a pretty fantastic client! You should check it out sometime.

            You can test on a test install with a binary from https://aur.chaotic.cx/

            I’m not on Arch so idk if this would work.
