Google offers many desirable, easy-to-use, effective features. Going open source is trickier.

    I’ve tried a few of these, and settled on photoprism. Its the lightest one I’ve tried, and works well with huge libraries.

      I liked photorism but settled on Photoview as my photos were already organized. I like that it just reflects your existing structure and still does face matching, location, etc.

      Lot of great projects out there.
