Google Photos is an excellent platform to store and back up your images and videos. But you can host your own media server on Linux using these apps.

    I have to admit that I’m a bit surprised that the article doesn’t mention Immich.

    I won’t say that it’s the best in Google Photos alternative category (I haven’t tried every alternative), but it’s definitely worth mentioning.
