I’m getting constant system notifications alerting me that my alert - AMBER, etc - settings have been reset.
What is intriguing me is that these alerts are not broadcast in country. I’m in Europe. And those who do are broadcast through SMS service.
The first line on the system alert mentions something about “presedential communications”.
Anyone else?
I’m missing your point.
I paid exactly for what I was looking for, which was an affordable rugged phone, with hardware adequate for my daily needs for a few years.
Until today, I haven’t had any issue with the phone.
So I’m having a hard time understanding your remark.
They’re trying to say you bought a phone with bad software. You may want to contact the company to see if they can help you. I’m saying that because my guess is not many people have your phone and will read this and can then help you.
There are countries in Europe that use a broadcast system and not SMS to send emergency alerts. Depends on your location. I’m guessing that with growing environmental catastrophes and the military threat from the East a lot more will be done with these kinds of alerts in the future.
