second to Emacs, of course.
I use that exact same switch. It’s not very portable.
There is no way you are a communist and willing to defend ol musky.
A muskrat and a religious nut, that’s a rare twofer. Usually musk suckers are atheist techbros.
Half of Kaim’s dreams in Lost Odyssey, and the cliff flashback.
It’s an age old Linux tradition. We argue about window managers, init systems, sound systems, and anything else we can. Often it’s because people have built a hacked together system based on what used to work for them. Relevant XKCD
I’m with you on this. I’ve been using openSUSE since it was SuSE Linux, and I still here bs on occasion about how they sold out open-source to MS. I’m not a huge fan of what Novell did back in the day, although it did end up costing MS more money. That said the opensuse community is not whichever corporation owns SLE currently, and they still contribute back to the community.
Their systems update regularly, they both use opensuse. I’ve never remoted in. I could probably figure out how to if i needed to, but that isn’t even in my current skill set. No matter what people think Linux is stable and trouble free if you leave it alone, and just use your computer, unless you have nvidia. Fuck nvidia.
Counterpoint. I used to get constant tech support calls from both of my parents until i switched them both to Linux. Now if i get a call from either of them more than twice a year it’s an oddity, and that is usually to install new hardware like a printer which they couldn’t install on windows either.
I’m sorry I took long to reply, but you are still wrong. Whether or not the Suse company gets bought or sold has no bearing on opensuse since that is an independant entity. No patent encumbered software ships with opensuse. You would have to use third party repositories just like Debian to install them.

I’ve never been on hexbear or even seen them since .world doesn’t federate. You do know this works like reddit and people can see your comment history, not to mention your username is noticeable.

How about we explore all of them instead of shutting down nuclear and replacing them with natural gas. Like they did in New York after Cuomo said nuclear was a part of New York State’s green energy plan. Am I a corpo plant now? No corporation is pushing nuclear right now. It’s too expensive and has way too long of a ROI.
