To be fair, from what I’ve seen Hegel doesn’t seem very good at making his writing understandable. A lot of it sounds like esoteric nonsense out of context.

The TL;DR is basically: Ultras, or ultra-leftists, are self-proclaimed communists who are extremely dogmatic about doing everything exactly as it was written to the letter even if it’s not possible in the given material conditions, while also ironically often not having read much theory and/or not understanding theory very well.

I’ve been working on a sci-fi setting I could tell stories in for a while. I’m still very much only doing worldbuilding and haven’t written any stories yet though. Also, I tend to be very inconsistent with continuing things I started because ADHD and all that so no definitive promises.

There is a genuine lack of communist fiction. There are some anti-capitalist and anti-corporations fictions as ultra-capitalist dystopias, typically cyberpunk stuff, and the occasional post-scarcity sci-fi setting that is communist in all but name, but there is barely any explicitly communist fictions.
I’ve been thinking for a while that we should make a list of leftist novels (and other medias), pin it somewhere, like in a dedicated community, or in the sidebar, and regularly update it with new recommendations from comrades in the community.
It would be cool also to have more comrades writing, and have a place to post writings at. Maybe they could post short pieces in c/worldbuilding but a lemmy post wouldn’t do for longer works so it would be nice to have a dedicated place for the writers of our community to post stuff, like something similar to royalroad maybe.

The difference is: China has tons of machines and factory robots to plug AI models into, the US doesn’t. Meaning China gets to use their AI for actual useful purposes while the US can only use their’s for speculation and slop generation.

Sweden and Finland were already so integrated with the western military block through the EU that them officially joining NATO is less a material change and more a symbolic formality. Not to mention that the Finnish-Russian border is an even worst path to invade Russia from Europe than the already difficult paths through Poland and Ukraine, and we know how invasions of Russia through those routes tend to go.
So it’s not the loss for Russia you think it is.
Control of those border regions are one of Russia’s main objective in this war despite what the “RuSsA wIlL rOlL tHeIr TaNkS tO bErLiN iF tHeY aReN’t sToPeD” crowd would like you to believe. They have neither the will nor the manpower to occupy all of Ukraine.
What they want to accomplish in this war is control over the border regions, especially the Donbass and Luhansk, and prevent Ukraine from becoming a NATO member, both of which have been accomplished whether you like it or not.

Oh, right. I forgot.

Not sus at all that you have all of these articles saved and ready to go for this gish-galop nonsense
Indeed it’s not, it’s just good debate and learning practice to have relevant sources on various subjects saved up. You should consider doing it too, it might help you not look like you have nothing to push back with like now.
I’m still waiting on you to drop the data you think I didn’t pick btw.

So you don’t, as I suspected. Just to clarify since clearly you aren’t even going to pretend you checked the link I gave you, what I linked was the wikipedia article about Jews who collaborated with the Nazis during WW2. All this to say, yes, you can be Jewish and a Nazi. These things aren’t as mutually exclusive as you peoples like to pretend they are, and the fact that you ignore all the examples of Jews who were Nazis is arguably, again, the very cherry picking you accused me of.
Meanwhile you have yet to provide the data that I supposedly omitted according to you.

Go ahead and link the sources that show I’m wrong that I didn’t pick then. Surely you better rebuttals than “ZeLeNsKy Is LiTeRaLly JeWiSh” right? Because if not, I’m afraid you would be the one doing cherry picking here.

If it’s sources you want then ho boy do I have a bunch for you to check out:
