Thanks a lot, I’ll definitely look into that!
And also wow, that graphics hack actually looks pretty good. I don’t tend to be a fan of pixel art graphics packs, cause they make them look weird and smooth, but that one is well done.

I was startled by how dated Zelda 1 is. I know, obviously it’s very old, but people talk about it as if it still holds up today… It doesn’t. Maybe I could try Zelda 2 now.
Well, to be fair, I’ve had people get annoyed with me for saying Merry Christmas in the past (I’m not particularly religious, but I was raised to say it and it’s a habit to break)
It’s all subjective. Just because you haven’t had something said to you, or even haven’t seen or heard of someone saying it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
Last finished was Super Metroid. Tons of fun
Really quick try, and I am a very early beginner, but figured it couldn’t hurt. Might try out some other ideas as well
Might make a pixel art style icon—will report back if it looks any good!
Currently playing a classic: Pokemon Emerald. Really solid.
I’m gonna be honest, I wanted to argue against this, but I can’t deny it. I’m part of a relatively overweight family (actually mostly because of immune system problems that thankfully I didn’t inherit) and all I get from my parents are “You’re looking skinny” or “You’re worrying too much about weight” just because I want to exercise and eat well. Even then, I’m ~20lbs over weight. To be devil’s advocate, I think part of it is that overweight people have struggled with problems of being too hard on themselves before, and so don’t want to you fall into that, but go too far the other way. The conversation of overweight/vegans doesn’t exactly overlap perfectly, but it made me think of it.
Some might say that it makes them less healthy, but a very light drizzle of honey before you cook them, and it becomes one of the best things you’ll ever eat
I still go on Reddit when I find the answer to a specific problem, or if I have to ask something specific, but I make sure to go on my computer with adblock
Probably about the same as everyone else’s
Sit stand desks change your life
I haven’t really kept up with this, so this is a genuine question—why are people protesting in the US about something going on in another country? What is the goal?
That’d have to be Metroid: Zero Mission and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Two of some of the only games I actually 100%.
Thanks for the rec! I’ll check it out
If windows 12 is a subscription like the rumors say, it might finally push me to Linux. Right now I haven’t moved over just cause there hasn’t been a particularly annoying thing to do it yet
Coffee is very cheap if you actually just make it. Maybe not cheaper than 4¢ tea bags sure, but cheap.
Edit: if anyone is curious about making coffee simply at home, buy a French press (fancy doesn’t matter, get a $15 one on Amazon) and some coffee grounds (taste is just an experiment of what brand you like. Eventually you’ll want to grind your own beans but don’t worry about it for now. If you can, get medium grind grounds, as that’s supposed to be good for French presses) follow a guide online for making it. You’ll need a way to measure hot water like a kettle, but that’s the same for tea so hey.
Used to use Brave, but it became more and more bloated as time went on. Also, I realized that I wasn’t opposing Google as I wanted, but choosing an alternative of Google, as brave is still based on chromium. I enjoy Firefox very much now (don’t know about the performance issues people talk about at all cause it seems better than all chrome, brave, opera, and opera GX I used in the past) although I’m looking into even further simplifying and privatizing that. Any suggestions for modified Firefox browsers that keep the functionality would be appreciated.
Someone with bad posture
Okay, perhaps not then. Thanks for the reply
