I am an original ST zealot, but am gearing up for a DS9 viewing.

I am a big fan of the OG ST. My wife will have it on when I walk in to prepare dinner. I never tire of the show. The stories are wonderful and I am highly entertained by the campy acting and simple sets. Honestly, the musical score used in the original is so very good and I love hearing it. I would use many for ringtones (esp the fighting score - you know it) if I weren’t so lazy. Someday.

My wife would say, “Your 12 is showing.”

Maybe you’re right about the joke ads. Last I looked (prior to commenting) I saw ads, but I am just now checking and this ad is for “plain white paper”. lol Killed it and after a restart the ad is for “Premium TPS Report Templates”. Okay, I retract my previous statement on the ads.

Yes and premium isn’t buying the app, it is subscribing at $40/yr. They do have a standard level of $20/yr.

It does seem like a good value. It is shipping from China, so some risks for international orders. I have had sellers ghost me for smaller value items. Not much I could do. I get more nervous on higher dollar items, but this seller has okay history with two negative reports in the last month. One of the reports is worrisome.

The board is an ATX board, so any case that fits ATX should work. Of course cooling solutions will need to fit, too.

“Too good to be true” is something to consider, but fleabayers do sell lots of things at well below market value, so I am conflicted. Ultimately, I am not sure I could pull the trigger given the costs and the international purchase.

I take a break over the weekend. If I comment, I need to check the client every hour or so. I don’t want replies/rebuttals to linger without a response if it is warranted. I need to work on my car projects and can’t be bothered with online interactions whilst doing so.

Lame jokes can be presented in a funny way. Delivery is important. My favorite method is “matter of fact” like I am telling a normal story about usual things. Catches the recipient off-guard and the joke lands much more betterer.

I’ve used this joke IRL with our cats. There’s another one for dogs:

The box is in your car whether or not you select Telemetry Insurance. Unless your car was built pre 2005ish. It varies by manufacturer.

The data gets used after an accident. You tell them you weren’t speeding, but they’ll know exactly how fast you were going and how you maneuvered.

Telemetry Insurance. That part is up to the consumer, but the boxes exist in all cars now. They are usually reviewed after accidents to check the environmental conditions, like speed/braking, steering etc. Manufacturers have had to comply since the mid 2000’s and some took until the mid teens.
