I’m with the infrastructure answer too. It really is too broad but in short, anything that kinda stumps you on your tracks once it fails. Just now for some reason I no longer have hot water, very annoying.

Okay Non American trying to make sense of this: So you guys had to pay tax on income from tips?
Is it really an addiction? What happens to you if you don’t have any money to spend on this? Or, say, for some reason there are no more gambling opportunities or sex workers in your area?
I love it. Didn’t know it existed.
Soy Sauce literally translates to “I’m Willow tree”
No, that’d be Leche. Soy milk is just English milk introducing itself in Spanish
Problem is only you can redeem yourself. This feels a bit pointless to me, in particular since it appears you’re unable to draw boundaries, which means you are leaving yourself open to be taken advantage of, which in turn just perpetuates unfairness.
6 year old you isn’t you anymore. I don’t know what you did, maybe you killed someone, but my point still stands all the same.
Thanks. I was wondering about spending. From what I gather, a basic set of paints for minis would cost the same as a basic set of regular paints or perhaps slightly more. The difference would be the amount of paint. Atm I’m heavily leaning towards the minis, since it would take less storage space. But I’ll see what I end up getting. Knowing the regular ones can be used too is still useful, in case I find any old acrylics in my possession.
I see, so, very different. Thanks
Have you used oil based paint for miniatures specifically or was that the same oil paint sold for canvases? I can see the spirits helping with the drying times if it’s just smear effects
That checks out, I would be expecting the medium in particular to be different for that reason.
So I guess the same goes for oils? I suppose they would be more similar to oil based varnishes for wood instead, rather than oil based paints for canvas?
Sure it is. But I feel like you never used Photoshop. It sucks up all the RAM. It’s more RAM intensive than any 3D software or browser I’ve ever used. (That is, except for Substance Painter, which is also in the Adobe family now unfortunately)
This would go great in TIL rather than showerthoughts
Calm down. Have a cup of tea. There’s this type I recommend, I think you’ll love, it’s called Earl Grey
No… I read your quote straight through and without issues. I had to re-read many of the sentences in OP’s quote and put effort to make sense out of them. Your quote feels normal, with flourishes, but normal. OP’s quote doesn’t. For me there is no comparison.
I would argue Sherlock Holmes, Verne, and Monte Cristo (which I really like) read nothing like the slob OP posted. (I’ve never read Oliver Twist though).
I started reading, I drifted away at about the mud part so I restarted. This is really not my cuppa tea when it comes to text. On the second run I did better but no, I didn’t manage to visualize everything. The Megalosaurus sentence doesn’t make much sense to me. The text is convoluted, boring, and depressing but yes I guess I see the shitty street, the animals, the people -a crowd-, the miserable weather.
I’m aware of more information I’m not really processing but I’m just too annoyed at the text to apply the necessary brainpower required to digest it. It’s almost 2 AM and I’m tired.
Then I make it to the end and realize it’s Dickens, and that explains everything. I never liked his writing. Good night.
Yeah I’m not arguing that both suck, if that’s the point. It’s just the way OP presented both as equal options what didn’t check out with me.
Thanks for the answer, I understand. Personally I feel like it shouldn’t be taxable, in a similar way the Germany guy explains it. There is no tipping culture where I live though.
