Android lets your record your own alarm tones. I have a selection for different reasons to remind me WHY I’m getting up.
I also have one that’s just me yelling to get up NOW.
Getting the gf to laugh at the alarm is a good way to get her up!

Have you pressed the test button?

Mine is like this in the UK:

It’s getting more difficult to shrink electronics now, that’s why everything is improving less.

If it only takes two hours, the concurrent player counts are not going to be that high
Possible because they are less dense, so harder to fit in the same sized packet?

Huh, more known than I expected, I think I have plugged it a few times here before though.

Space is big, unbelievably big.
Low earth orbit is roughly 200 km to 800 km in altitude.
GPS satellites are at about 20,000 km in altitude.
Geostationary orbit is 35,000 km up.
The international space station is at roughly 420km altitude, travels at 27,600 km/h, yet takes 93 minutes to orbit the earth once.
Space is just big.
I’m addition, we track objects in orbit, this site says we track over 45,000 items larger than 10cm in size (satellites, rocket parts, debris, the ISS), with there being over a million larger than a centimetre (flecks of paint, lumps of rock/ice, small bits of debris etc). Satellites often have to move to avoid known debris (example for the ISS) and have outer shells that can absorb/disperse smaller impacts (the ISS has armour!)
The biggest causes of debris has been countries testing out anti satellite missiles. Even small bits of debris, a fleck of paint etc can do a lot of damage when the closing speed is 10s of thousands km/h!
Source for most numbers
Edit: fixed spelling and lower bound of LEO

Probably a bit late to the party, Reus 2: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1875060/Reus_2/
Lovely puzzle/god game with eco/environmental themes. Really fun to chase all the achievements as they encourage you to try different things.
Great on the steam deck too!

The valuation of spacex is nothing to do with it’s space activities. I don’t understand how anyone writing any finance adjacent piece doesn’t understand this.
Makes you realise how almost every piece out there is written by people without a clue.

I thought the oil tank one was a Ukrainian one that had it’s GPS spoofed?

There is a species of wild cat native to the UK: https://www.wildlifetrusts.org/wildlife-explorer/mammals/wildcat

And if you want the western car indusy to continue, required.

Muting the US would solve a lot of problems to be fair.

Well… An airstrike against Switzerland would definitely persuade Europe to kick out American troops…

There are different reasons against AI, it depends which ones you consider more important.
A) taking jobs away from artists - you can argue that if you would never have hired an artist for this anyway (throw away character portrait for a D&D game) then it’s justifiable.
B) That AI was trained on stolen content. - depends on your definition of stolen, this is the area that makes me think twice.
C) Environmental reasons - I try to generate stuff locally if I use it, but you still have the impact from the model being trained originally.

It’s not like oil extraction and processing doesn’t have it’s issues, and you have to do that for every trip.
Once your battery is made, the materials are there and can (probably, needs some work) be recycled forever.

… That is more fire and a lot more smoke than I was expecting!
What stops them letting the investment vehicle crash and burn though? It’s a lender problem more than one for the tech companies?
