The conductor has several jobs both during rehearsal and performance.

During rehearsal, their main job is to cross reference what it’s being played against the score and identify mistakes or areas to improve upon. These points are then provided back to the group and problematic areas are focused on. This may also identify times where some parts have a long rest and would benefit from being brought in at the right time.

During a performance, any mistakes will not be noted down, as they will be providing timing for the group, to aid everyone in staying in time and providing the initial tempo, and any variations in tempo (eg rall). They will also bring in parts as identified in rehearsal to avoid any counting errors.

Notably, they do not tell people what to play, as they either know it by heart or have it written down in front of them. They may settle any engraving queries during rehearsal if something sounds wrong, but that is the extent of it.

I have played the mandolin. I prefer to try to master one instrument than play loads, but piano is too useful not too know the basics. I still have a long way to go to achieve mastery of guitar…

Just play everything with vibrato and noone will notice ;)

I mean the left hand probably translates well. Hitting the notes depends more on the construction of your guitar, since if the neck bends, the strings have to stretch further. Unlike on a violin, you can’t move your finger in the fret to change the pitch much, so it will never sound that good. Not sure why your partner thinks that a guitar is like a percussion instrument though. Unless they only played tamboura haha.

I’ve found instruments typically come on groups, where learning an instrument in a group will help more with another. Eg learning guitar will help more with playing a mandolin than a piano. Instruments that typically use the same clef are closer together etc.

If you want to self host, I’ve been having a great success with NextCloud, which would fit the bill perfectly and have room for further capability if you wanted it down the road.

From what you described, it sounds like you may be agender, ie don’t have a gender. Not that you have to use a label or anything, but if you want to explore it further, it might help too know what to look up ;)

Ignore those instructions. Instead put the oven on as hot as it goes, and keep an eye on it because it will be done in a few minutes. Even better if you have a pizza oven that can go even hotter.

+1 for TBW. It takes all the fun parts if XCOM and ramps it up to 11. The lack of rng turns it more into a puzzle game, but it will always be satisfying defenestrating fools!

I had a blurricade serpent form build. Only got to ~450 block on the final experiment boss because I passively killed it too fast. Only A2 mind you since I haven’t played much yet.

Should be labeled clearly on the outside of the container of suncream.

Also, you can only get as hot as the photosphere due to the reversibility of light. We can get far hotter other ways, eg fusion plants.

I played it with some friends. There’s an app you can get on your phone for character sheets and you don’t even need that if you prefer pen and paper.
