  • Yeah I’ll admit it. I hate religious people. Even the ones that don’t push these practices onto others.

It’s funny to me how the ones who fully follow their religious doctrine are called extremists when they’re actually the only ones actually following the written rules.

So you’re either aggressively trying to expand your influence on the world or your hypocritically cherry picking details to make you feel better about it.

Either way I’m sick of fucking hearing about it. Idgaf which sky daddy you pray to or believe is real. Idgaf about what your special book says you can or can’t do. Absolutely none of it holds any weight to me at all and it’s just modern barbarism using religious persecution as a shield to hide behind.

“They made fun of my religion 😭😭😭”

Yeah cause you just killed 3 women for not wearing the right piece of fuckin cloth on their heads.

  • Do you not remember the protests for civil rights? The sit ins? The marches? The protests outside the white house?

Literally every part of what is protesting is based on disrupting everything for the average citizen so the govt is forced to make a change.

The point of protesting is to force action without violence. People blocking traffic or stopping people from entering certain businesses is exactly what protesting is.

Protesting isn’t just rallies where people come together to talk about what they all agree on. It’s actively forcing people to acknowledge the issue without resorting to violence.

Edit: I didn’t see this was a UK post which is my bad but it’s still relevant

  • The fact that the comment sections of these posts are always the same just shows how much oil propaganda has affected the situation.

That and people thinking protesting isn’t deliberately meant to disrupt the daily lives of people in an attempt to force them to acknowledge there’s a problem and do something about it.

By nature protests are supposed to be disruptive to the average person because it’s the average person that decides what policies and laws we have.

The problem is the average person is too stupid/ignorant/tired/lazy to realize this and just sees it as a personal attack and reacts with pure emotion.

  • My biggest gruff with Disney is them declaring the extended universe non canon just to cherry pick details from it while ignoring the most exciting lore and shit.

Like the whole palpatine returning thing happened in the EU but was done in a much better way. Different materials like beskar were more fleshed out.

Disney literally had thousands of stories to draw inspiration from and chose to just come up with bullshit over and over again.

I remember when Hulu first came out and everyone kept telling me it was free. Then I’d try to watch something on it and it was only 15-30 second clips. Then I found out my friends were just stupid and didn’t realize they’re parents were paying for it
