Technology@lemmy.ml•Musk says a 50% drop in ad revenue for Twitter is causing negative cash flowEnglish
1018·3 年前Is he forced to disclose this, as this will confirm reports that Twitter is dying, which may hasten people leaving, and companies lsaving.
Ironically, there is a karma system. Your comment score is negative. Click on your name/profile - it’s visible in wefwef.
Nicely ironic.
…you say without giving a fact to base your comment.
Can you see that you’re a hypocrite?
Your comment is retatded, btw.
I’m doubting he’s a human being, though I’m not assuming that all et’s are hostile.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Why just blocking Meta's Threads won't be enough to protect your privacy once they join the fediverse
719·3 年前Come on, Lemmy.world, take a moral stand now, I stead of “wait and see”- reminds me of appeasement just before ww2, and yes, I’m going to enact Godwin’s law, meta are the fucking Nazis and guess who Hitler is.
(Written only somewhat tongue in cheek)

1722·3 年前Tldr for those not wanting to watch a video please
Perhaps it’s one of those self selecting things in life - if people bitch and complain and are those sorts of people that don’t want to research into a topic enough or are generally negative and will complain about everything, then they shouldn’t use Lemmy, and this would lead to Lemmy with the best people.
Win-win.
Well, win for us. They can stick to Reddit and threads.
Is the swipe good? Are the autocorrections good? Can you have a number line and keys have symbols on long press? Is the audio dictation quick and easy tonuse and doesn’t go to a second screen?
Essentially I’d love a glkeyboaes just like gboaes but open source and off network.
I’m back baby! I’m back!
Are they federated to lemmy alreasdy?

Fediverse@lemmy.ml•Meta's Threads is the attempted gentrification of the FediverseEnglish
815·3 年前I guess so that they can get their dirty hands on teh fediverse data “legally” and, I assume, have their own shiny app that pumps ads down your throat. There’s a post somewhere regarding the permissions that threads asks for - pretty much everything you do on your phone will get sucked up by meta.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Wonder how long it will take for the "Average Joe" to care about these things
3124·3 年前Unless there’s a massive data breach which affects them personally - though not sure how that would be.
The only way to go may be forcing the mega-terch companies to respect user rights, which you’d think would be a joke - and for google/facebook/microsoft that is a joke, though it is interesting that apple introduced that “opt in app do-not-track” thing last year, where facebook shat it’s pants.

Memes@lemmy.ml•Calling all devs! We need moderation tools that can deal with the growth of Lemmy.
817·3 年前Would it be relatively straightfoward to port other forums tools here?

You criticize but don’t even have the balls to name your browser? To back up your claims?
That is pathetic.
