The source code for it isn’t available. I like the idea of it though.
Hasn’t been updated in 6 years, is there a fork of it thats still maintained?
I loved Jitsi too, though, the call quality was a bit low quality when I used it previously (browser version I believe). The only problem with Jitsi, is how do you set up a server?
For example, Professer Messer has a Discord server, but a lot of people use the chat rooms for conversations, and there a lot of other study sessions taking place in different voice channels. I really wonder what the other alternative to Discord is. Mumble won’t do since I don’t think it has the ability to screen share.
How do you set up XMPP with OMEMO as anonymously as possible? My friend and I would love to video call each other, currently we’re using SimpleX for this, but it’s very buggy. We use Molly for calling and SimpleX for texting, both of us are switching to using Libreboot laptops with QubesOS to communicate :)
I love teaching my friend privacy. He’s really gotten into it, I’ve done a good job making him just as paranoid as I am!
Where can you find the mask?
Sometimes sacrifices have to be made to get the message across.
I think we should attack this issue at the root. There are already backdoors in the devices anyway, so what’s this court case really going to achieve? I get it, because it would be a known backdoor, but think of all the nastier NSA backdoors that aren’t disclosed to the public. We’ve lost already by the masses using this proprietary garbage. Schools have failed to teach libre software, this is one of the major reasons we’re here in the first place.
Apple is all proprietary anyways, so you shouldn’t trust them still, even if they win this court case. I recommend using Librebooted Dell OptiPlex 780’s or Dell E4300 Latitude’s with Trisquel GNU/Linux + Tor Browser with Javascript disabled if your looking for the most privacy in your internet activites. You can do what you wish with this information.
I agree. If it’s not libre from the start, we should not trust it. The term “open source” is ambiguous; they could just put it under some restrictive open-source license and then revert to closed source later. If it’s put under a free software license like the GPL, then I’ll feel better.
Just edited my comment. It’s not a necessity for me, but would be nice to have. Thanks for the info!
I want to use it, but it requires Javascript in order to view the webpage. I’m wondering if there’s a utility that would allow me to download the webpage over Tor, with all the sites functions (audio, elements, etc.)
Wget could work, I’ll give it a try soon. Thank you! (I don’t necessarily need the audio, but it would be nice to have)
Yes, but I would need to enable Javascript, Ultimateguitar.com completely blocks access if Javascript is disabled. Thank you for the tip though! I did not know of that feature.
Edward Snowden next please!
CEO of our company asked me for help with his computer, opened Outlook, and I saw in the search results he searched for “sex.” He was sitting right next to me.

Sorry for the really late reply, no I am not in enterprise IT. I did this solely to help the community use Libreboot more, I want to see it become mainstream. I also was just planning on reselling most of these models, but I haven’t got to it yet.
A lot of people are saying Trump sent the hit. Is it a joke or do you actually think he might’ve?
