25·2 months agoIsn’t it a huge problem that the president is blocking almost everything that’s even slightly progressive? Turning away now, right before they have a chance to actually change things if the presidential election goes well seems like a bad idea
This almost reads like a propaganda piece right out of Russia’s playbook in order to keep PiS in power…

471·6 months agoIf this wasn’t enough of a wakeupcall to not put all the eggs in one basket then what is? Companies are literally doing this to lock you into their service so it’s harder to switch since you then have to find X new services instead of just one.
Better go with one that’d specialized for each service you need…
I think it’s possible to have her somehow take back that magic in a desperate situation, or to have her go through the trial for some reason, too (she always was kind of interested, but Geralt didn’t allow it)
I mean Geralt died in the books and is somehow alive for the games. A lot of stuff can happen and be explained in a way that fits with the lore good enough to spin a story around it
I bet the people complaining with “what about the lore” have a big overlap with the people that wanted Ciri to be a love interest in W3…

And if you’re the product then there’s an interest to keep you on the site and show you ads which works best if the first result isn’t the correct one and you need to scroll or even go to page two
It’s literally the reason why Google got so much worse that they wanted to show more ads to users which wouldn’t work if the best result is always the first
It’s the go-to strategy for fossil fuel companies to stay in the market as long as possible
They know it’s not possible, they don’t want to build new ones but the discussion alone is slowing down renewables and makes it less likely that the current fossil power plants can be shut down soon.
